The Role

As a Restaurant Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing one of our restaurants, supporting an incredible team, and growing the FISHBOWL brand with us. You’ll lead Restaurant Supervisors and Mixers to deliver delicious food, and exceptional customer experiences, every time.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to your Operations Manager or Area Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of your restaurant, working with restaurant team members (who we call ‘Mixers’) and Restaurant Supervisors, to coordinate restaurant operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing financial performance. You’ll be expected to: 

  • Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards
  • Understand and take action on key metrics (e.g. restaurant sales and costs) to allow for future growth
  • Manage all expected reporting, sales and expenses
  • Deliver superior customer service, to every customer, every time
  • Maintain critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
  • Supervise and coach team members to grow with us.

The Interview Process

Here’s what you can expect during our recruitment process:

  1. Initial pre-screen call with our Recruitment team (20 min)
  2. 2nd round interview – diving deeper into your experience and the scope of the role (45 min)
  3. In-store trial with one of our Operations leaders – getting ‘on the mix’ with one of our teams (2 hours)
  4. Final interview – wrap up of your trial and the role (1 hour)
  5. Reference checks and move to offer.
