Operations Manager
We're looking for a highly motivated operations pro to lead and grow our Queensland market as we continue to scale.
The role
As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing the FISHBOWL brand across your remit. You’ll lead Area Managers and Restaurant Managers to achieve a healthy balance sheet and support their teams to thrive.

Key responsibilities
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of restaurants, working with restaurant team members (who we call ‘Mixers’), Restaurant Supervisors, Restaurant Managers, Area Managers, and Head Office in planning, directing, and coordinating restaurant operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing financial performance. You’ll be expected to:
- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards
- Coach and develop Area Managers and Restaurant Managers in their career development
- Work closely with Head Office to help teams to drive sales growth and deliver results
- Be active in strategic planning and restaurant operations
- Draw insights and take action on key metrics (e.g. restaurant sales and costs) to allow for future growth.

The interview process
Here’s what you can expect during our recruitment process:
- Initial pre-screen call with our Recruitment team (20 min)
- 2nd round interview – diving deeper into your experience and the scope of the role (30 min)
- In-store trial with one of our existing Operations Managers – getting on the mix with one of our teams (2 hours)
- Final interview – wrap up of your trial and the role (1 hour)
- Reference checks and move to offer.
