
Mixer (Crew Member)

The Role
As a Mixer at FISHBOWL, you’ll be an ambassador of our core values. You will be responsible for providing personalised guest experiences, walking our customers through the menu and making wholesome salads from scratch.
Skills and experience
You’ll have:
- A background working in food, restaurants, and/or customer experience (desirable, not but essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player mindset and a positive can-do attitude
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a quick and adaptable learner
- Accountability in upholding high standards.
Key Responsibilities
You will work with fellow Mixers, Restaurant Supervisors, and your Restaurant Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience and create delicious bowls. You’ll be expected to:
- Make wholesome salads from scratch
- Deliver superior customer service, to every customer, every time
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) register to complete customer transactions
- Learn and maintain knowledge of our changing menu
- Maintain critical standards of food quality, daily food safety, and sanitation
- Live out FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards by contributing to an excellent work culture.

The Interview Process
Here’s what you can expect during our recruitment process:
- Initial pre-screen call with our Recruitment team (10-15 min)
- In-store trial with one of our Operations leaders – getting ‘on the mix’ with one of our teams – this is your chance to show us your attention to detail, customer service, can-do attitude, and good hygiene practices (1 hour)
- If you smash your in-store trial, you’re on the team – job offer and onboarding process begins
